The Base Prompt Tab (Voice AI Agent)

The Base Prompt tab defines the core identity, conversation style, and overall purpose of your voice-enabled AI agent.
This is where you shape how your agent speaks, behaves, and guides conversations during real-time voice interactions.

Introductory Message

This is the first message your caller hears when the conversation starts.
It typically serves as a greeting or an initial statement of purpose - setting the tone for the call.
  • You can toggle this message On or Off depending on whether you want a custom greeting or a system-generated one.
  • Example:
    “Hi! You’re speaking with ChatzyAI’s Voice Assistant. How can I help you today?”

Base Prompt

The Base Prompt is the core instruction that guides how your AI agent thinks, responds, and maintains consistency throughout the call. It defines:
  • The agent’s behavior and level of formality
  • Its goal or mission (support, sales, booking, feedback, etc.)
  • The interaction tone, ensuring a natural voice experience
Example prompt:
“Act as a versatile voice assistant capable of handling customer queries, providing helpful information, and offering personalized support based on user needs. Your goal is to ensure satisfaction and achieve the desired outcome - such as lead generation, issue resolution, or product recommendation.”

A well-defined Base Prompt ensures your voice agent sounds natural, stays on topic, and delivers consistent results across all user interactions.
