The Update Contact action adds or modifies details on a contact’s profile. It is a key feature for enriching customer data, enabling segmentation, and supporting personalization in future conversations.

Configuration Fields

  • Contact Phone Number
    The unique identifier for the contact whose profile is being updated.
  • Tags
    Labels that categorize a contact. For example, you might add a Qualified tag after a user completes a specific step in your flow.
  • Attributes
    Custom data fields used to store structured details such as name, email, or company. Attributes differ from tags in that they hold actual values instead of simple categories.
